On Nov. 16, 2024 Tactical Applications Consultancy CEO and Founder Sir Marck Tan (TAC) & its alumni, held its 1st Steel Masters Challenge at Miguel's Firing Zone, Ayong's Adventure Park at Silang Cavite.
Eleven tactical shooters alumni of TAC, participated on this challenge from all different walks of life. During the qualifiers 8 will emerge for elimination.
From 8 shooters at the elimination, 4 will be able to continue to the semi finals. From the last remaining 4, a king will be hailed as the Champion of the 1st ever Steel Masters Challenge.
Among the eleven tactical shooter participants one of our fellow San Pableño joined the challenge named Glenn "Kidlat/Papu" Francisco a local govt employee, detailed at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng San Pablo as a school nurse, during the qualifiers he was at the bottom end, he was No. 8 at the rankings.
During the last stage in the qualifiers a change of luck happened he was able to bagged the stage 5 Champion category finishing in an amazing general average time of 6.1 seconds in 2 sets, hitting an overall total of 10 steel plates (5 steel plates in a set). Then his luck moved forward reaching it to the finals. The final stage was a man vs man challenge, the fastest tactical shooter that can hit the metal target wins.
God really works in mysterious ways, from being at the bottom end our fellow San Pableño was able to overcome the obstacles ahead and was hailed as the Champion of the 1st TAC Steel Masters Challenge.
