Alaminos, Laguna Residents Receive Free Medical and Dental Services


**ALAMINOS, LAGUNA -** Over 1,000 indigent individuals in Alaminos, Laguna received free medical and dental examinations on October 19th, thanks to a joint initiative by House Speaker Martin Romualdez and Laguna 3rd District Congressman Loreto Amben Amante. 

The medical mission, held at the Alaminos Central School, was the first large-scale socio-activity organized for the residents of Alaminos. It was a collaborative effort involving Alaminos Mayor Glenn Flores, the city council, and former Laguna Board member Yancie Amante.

Mayor Flores emphasized the mission's goal of assisting the city's impoverished residents and improving the overall well-being of Alaminos. The program included free medical examinations, X-rays, blood tests, dental procedures, and distribution of medications for cough, cold, fever, and maintenance for high blood pressure and diabetes.

To ensure the comfort of those waiting for their turn, Mayor Flores' kitchen provided free porridge, while Congressman Amante offered burgers.

Alaminos City Council members expressed their gratitude to Congressman Amante for responding to the needs of the impoverished residents by organizing the medical mission.
Congressman Amante reiterated his commitment to providing medical assistance to all residents of Laguna's 3rd district, particularly when it comes to their health. He emphasized that his office will continue to prioritize the well-being of the community.
