San Pablo City, Laguna – On October 25, 2025, the local government of Laguna under the leadership of Governor Sol Aragones successfully held the Medical and Burial Assistance Program for residents of San Pablo City, Calauan, Rizal, Nagcarlan, Liliw, and Alaminos-Victoria. The program was held at the San Pablo Central Gymnasium, where nearly 3,000 individuals from the Third District of Laguna received financial aid for medical and burial expenses.
The program was led by Vice Mayor Lubic Jacob, representing Governor Sol Aragones, while Councilor Eloisa Ortega stood in for Vice Governor Atty. JM Carait. Together, they spearheaded the distribution of assistance to families in need, reinforcing the provincial government’s ongoing dedication to improving the welfare of every Lagunense family.
Governor Sol Aragones, through the Akay ni Gob Sol program, has consistently prioritized delivering tangible support to the citizens of Laguna. This includes services related to healthcare and support during times of grief, providing much-needed relief to families during difficult times.
The Medical and Burial Assistance program is part of a broader effort by the provincial government to implement development programs that bring benefits to the community.
