Sen. Bong Revilla Jr. Visits Typhoon Kristine Victims in Laurel and Talisay, Batangas.


                    
Sen. Bong Revilla Jr. visited the victims of Typhoon Kristine in the towns of Talisay and Laurel, Batangas, this Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

It is remembered that his wife, Congw. Lanie Mercado-Revilla, had previously visited and provided aid to the affected areas.


Using his own funds, the senator brought relief goods and water, which are essential for the victims.


Included in the areas that received aid from Sen. Revilla was the town of Laurel, which was also severely affected by Typhoon Kristine.

According to Sen. Revilla, he has also visited several areas in Bicol and Laguna to provide assistance and identify the needs that the government should focus on.


The senator also promised Talisay Mayor Nestor Natanauan that he would implement programs such as AICS and TUPAD to help the victims recover. "Ito ay panata ko sa Diyos at sa tao; hangga't kaya natin maabot ang mga nangangailangan ng tulong, aabutin po natin," said Sen. Revilla.

Additionally, Revilla extended help to the relatives of those who lost their lives.

Sen. Revilla emphasized that the government continues to support everyone's needs.

The residents of Talisay expressed their deep gratitude for the senator's aid.

According to Mayor Natanauan, he is very thankful for Sen. Revilla's visit because it uplifted the spirits of his constituents, especially seeing the aid and meeting the senator in person.
