ANTIPOLO CITY - Key government agencies convened today in a collaborative meeting to enhance the Kadiwa ng Pangulo (KNP) program implementation in Antipolo City last November 7,2024
The inter-agency coordination aims to ensure the program's success in providing accessible and affordable basic commodities to consumers.
Representatives from the Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and the Local Government Unit of Antipolo City participated in the strategic planning session. During the meeting, the agencies established clear roles and responsibilities to ensure smooth program implementation.
The Kadiwa ng Pangulo program is scheduled to be implemented in Antipolo City on November 20, December 4, and December 18, 2024. Residents can look forward to a diverse selection of products as the program will feature authorized sellers offering both food and non-food items.
This initiative is designed to create direct market linkages between producers and consumers, effectively reducing prices of essential goods while ensuring fair returns for local farmers and producers.
